How to choose the right size

In this article, you will learn how to correctly choose the size of sneakers, or how to measure your foot and then compare the measurement result with the table you can find here .

What you will need:

  • Tape measure or ruler
  • Paper
  • Pencil or pen

How to measure your foot correctly:

  1. Prepare the paper you will work with. Ideally, it should be bigger than your foot.
  2. Sit in a chair so that your leg is in an upright position. It is important that the leg is relaxed, as there may be changes in the length of the leg when standing.
  3. Place the paper on the ground and stand on it. Make sure the weight is evenly distributed between both legs.
  4. Using a pencil or pen, carefully trace the outline of your foot. Hold the pencil as close to the leg as possible to get an accurate outline.
  5. Following the contour of the foot, take a tape measure or measuring tape and measure the length from the longest point of the heel to the end of the longest toe (usually the thumb). The measurement should be in centimeters.
  6. It is important to take measurements for both legs as there may be slight differences in length between the left and right legs. If the difference in length is greater, choose shoes based on the length of the longer leg.
  7. You should add another 0.5 - 1 cm to the resulting length, so that the toes in the front part of the shoe have enough space and the toe of the shoe does not press on your nails.
  8. To get the right shoe size, use your foot length and compare it with the table value.
